19. Hands-Free: Airport to Hotel Luggage Delivery
The Case for Hands-Free Travel in Korea
Navigating Seoul's metro system with large suitcases is genuinely difficult. Subway cars during rush hour have minimal space for luggage. Many stations have stairs despite elevator options. And the walk from a station to a hotel in a hilly neighborhood can involve stairs and narrow alleyways. Korea's luggage delivery services solve this elegantly.
T-Luggage (T익스프레스 수하물 배송)
T-Luggage, operated by the AREX Airport Railroad in partnership with CJ Logistics, is Korea's most established airport-to-hotel luggage delivery service.
Service Details:
- From Incheon Airport: Drop your bags at the T-Luggage counter in the arrivals hall (Floor 1, between exits 4–6). You will receive a pickup receipt.
- Delivery time: Your bags arrive at your hotel by 9 PM on the same day if dropped off before 12 PM. For afternoon arrivals, next-day delivery is available.
- Price: Approximately ₩12,000–₩18,000 ($9–$13 USD) per bag depending on size and destination. Large bags cost slightly more.
- Coverage area: All major hotels and guesthouses in Seoul, Incheon, and most major Korean cities. Remote rural areas may not be covered.
How to Use:
- After claiming your bags from the carousel, proceed to the T-Luggage counter in the arrivals hall.
- Fill out a delivery form (available in English, Chinese, and Japanese). Include your hotel name, address, and check-in date/time.
- Pay by credit card or cash.
- Take your receipt. The delivery tracking number can be used to monitor your bags online.
- Proceed to your hotel without your heavy bags. They will be at reception by evening.
Zimcarry: Luggage Storage and Delivery Alternative
Zimcarry offers a similar service with a slightly different model — they operate pickup points across Seoul (not just at the airport) and are particularly useful for mid-trip luggage transfers between cities.
- Mobile app available in English with clear booking interface
- Can arrange hotel-to-hotel transfers
- Also offers airport drop-off service for departure day
Luggage Storage (Day Use)
If you need to store bags for a few hours (for example, before check-in or after check-out), options include:
- Station lockers: Seoul metro stations have coin-operated lockers (₩1,000–₩3,000 per 4 hours). Small and medium sizes are common; large suitcases may not fit.
- Stasher / Bounce: Apps that locate nearby bag storage partners (cafes, guesthouses, convenience stores) that store luggage for ₩5,000–₩8,000 per bag per day.
- Hotel bell service: Most hotels will store luggage for a few hours before check-in or after check-out, usually at no charge for guests.
Departure: Send Bags to the Airport
T-Luggage and Zimcarry also offer reverse service — pickup from your hotel on departure day and delivery to the check-in counter at Incheon. This allows you to spend your last morning exploring Seoul without dragging bags. Book the service the day before departure.

Community Discussion
This guide was super helpful! I was worried about the curfew at Gimhae, but now I know what to expect.
Does the K-ETA application really only take ₩10,000? I saw sites charging $50.
Yes, Alice! The official fee is exactly ₩10,000. Any site charging more is a third-party service or a potential scam. Always use the official link.
